The Illinois Machine Sublending Agency (IMSA) is a division of the Illinois Network of Talking Book and Braille Libraries.  Funding is provided through the cooperation of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped/Library of Congress and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The primary responsibility of IMSA is to maintain Talking Book equipment and accessories and to issue Talking Book equipment and accessories to Illinois residents who are registered for the service.  IMSA is also the primary support center for patrons in need of assistance with the Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) service.

Generally, inquiries should be directed to one of the three subregional Talking Book Centers or to the Illinois State Library Talking Book and Braille Service in Springfield.  Click HERE to see which Talking Book Center serves your geographic area.
